The Bandits Come Again on Easter

i started drafting this book during coved lockdown. So it was sort of a an imaginative escape into another land and also a way to process and express through art something that i had been feeling and thinking about in a completely new way. The bandits came again on easter. This time they slaughtered two men, three women and two small children. Some smelting tools were stolen from the blacksmith, but no gold or silver as there was none. One of the bandits was injured by an axe wielded by the slain children's mother. He was restrained by neighbors and dragged to the village square, where he was beaten and put in the pillory.
