The Fed's Skepticism About Inflation Growth
In 2018 everybody was convinced inflation was going to break out. You have the flattening yield curve as well as your dollar futures betting 2019 was not going to turn out that way. So there's been a lot of skepticism involved in the marketplace going back that far, which suggests that we're just continuing along in that direction toward lower growth and inflation expectation.
