The Imposter Syndrome of Estimating Work

There's this pressure to give these low ball estimates or else you look like it dunce, right? And we know we've all been there. I usually am seriously between I want elegant, but I want functional and I want a reasonable amount of time. So that's real life side projects. This one is over engineering, spending resources, making a project more robust and complex than it is needed.
