The Buzzards of Hinckley, Ohio

The men of Hinckley, Ohio made that final assault in the forest. Turkey vultures had been flying from parts farther north to South America when they came upon this unbelievable feast. We do not know exactly why the ancestors of those first circling birds still come back, but they do. Every March 15th. They are what the swallows are to San Juan, Capistrana.
