The Socratic Criticism of Socrates
Alex Castellanos: I think what he's suggesting, I think this Greg's point about democratizing Socrates is exactly right. He hides the radical quality of Socrates critique. That's not to say that he doesn't agree with the Socratic critique. But his ultimate thesis then would be something like the passion that's essential to good political life is corrupting when it comes to science and society.
