What Is Brazilian Politics?
Brazil is currently in the middle of a national election. Current president Jaye Bolsonaro has pushed Brazil into cutting down the Amazon rainforest. On the other side, Louise Inacio Lula de Silva or Lula for short was Brazilian president from 2003 until 2010. He spent a year and a half in prison over a massive corruption scandal which damaged his reputation. We'll learn some useful political vocabulary to practice talking about elections.
