The Chaos of Dark Matter

We've been watching as if the dark matter is these weave between marching bands. And we've not seen any evidence that these marching bands have bumped into each other. So can we take a step back now and try and imagine what in the world we know would behave like that? You have a little bit of chaos, which you couldn't see when you were looking at a much bigger picture of the universe. What does that mean for astrophysics or for our understanding of the universe? It gives us a first clue into what dark matter is.
