Protests and the National League for Democracy
By the sixth of february, 20 thousand people were in the streets of yangon. The internet was shut down nation wide. Protest began peacefully with mimable signs like, myex is bad, but the military is worse. By midmarch, an um fort is a hundred and 14 civilians were killed on a single day. So both the national unity government and zalin had realized that no amount of non violent protest was going to dislodge a regime happy to gun down kids in the street.
