The Most Important Thing in a Pitch
The most important thing is to not talk at the beginning about why the product or service, or whatever youre selling is so good. When you hear what other people think about ond what's on their mind, then you can better make your presentation and follow up in an appropriate way. A good presentation has a half life of about a week and a half. Do not over sell by telling people something is the greatest thing in sice bread. If people won't believe ind you lose your credibility. I open every single letter i get on my desk. But a hand written note from somebody will 100% get open and respond to. To Verses me.
