Salvador Chindoy turned Schulte's on, and essentially the rest of the world as well, to the magic and the power and the therapeutic potential of ayahuasca. The Catholic Church had long been trying to stamp out the use ofAyahuasca amongst the indigenous peoples of Cibindoy prior to Schultes arrival.
