How to Deal With a Stranger in a New Place

In the Dominican Republic, I would hear this strange noise. And I really didn't know how to deal with that because Americans don't do that. You don't make noises like that when you're trying to get someone's attention. So I didn't know should I ignore it? Should I yell at them? Should I run away? That's very tough. It's a very tough call at that point. In Paris there are Caribbean communities living here. There's a lot of communities from all sorts of places in the world,. But certainly Caribbean communities live here.
