I was trained by a gentleman professor Avi Banerjee at Kings and he really got me started on this journey of just go for everything. So at university that meant going for every competition every award every essay prize just to get that CV going. And then once I qualified I sort of got involved with the BACD at that stage and that then led to me like going to lots of BACD events. It's not easy when you put yourself out to lecture two or three years out of unit because you've been given this opportunity, it's stressful firstly as public speaking is scary if you're not used to doing a lot but secondly actually dentistry's at that stage especially
