Tyler Burns: What would you have done differently in your early Christian discipleship? Brea Upperman: I think it's even harder for students who are involved if they don't feel like they're culturally seen or represented. She says she struggled with trying to synthesize the very individualistic ways that our campus ministry, and Campus Ministry tend to do disciple-making. The African American Cultural Center on their campus helped her survive the PWI experience.
