The Importance of Social Prescription in Healthcare
The Royal Colative GPs called for the rollout of social prescribing link workers in every practice. The evidence did show that about 20% of GP appointments were for non-clinical or social needs. So I think it is the 21st century healthcare, the way that we need to deliver healthcare. It's not only helping to reduce the demand or the pressures in the health service but also helping people take control of their health and well.
