The Roller Coaster of Thought Experiments

Spencer: I have that reaction arguing with Stephen Christian a lot because he's very good at doing that. With Stephen, I have that experience and then one more step. And if a philosopher can take me on that roller coaster, I love it so much. What I find is that a lot of non philosophers hate that roller coaster,. The very same experience that I find enlightened, they find incredibly horrifying.
