"I'm a hopeless, helpless anglo file. I fell in love with two english girls in a row and both of em just chopped me up like a, you know, like a julian," he says. "A pepper's lonely hearce ban was such an important record to me and everybody else." He recalls being introduced as tom dowd from atlantic records by paul lennon while playing guitar for yoko on the harpsichord. The experience left him feeling 'tortured', but it also made him realize that people were always trying to get what they wanted out of his life.
