What Would Have Happened if Cuba Had Joined the United States?
If cuba had joined the united states, either as one or three states during the nineteenth century. Would that have made a difference in how parts of the united states was incorporated and the way decisions about slavery in those territories would have happened? One would think it would have e that, but i'm not quite sure how, ecause, again, one thing depends on the other. It might have resulted in a completely different history in the us. In relation to slavery secession and westward expansion. So that's pretty big. And then the other thing that i wonder is what it would have meant for cuban independence.
