I don't write anything down verbatim, like out. I'll write a bullet note and then go up and talk about the first eight. Then i can res pe it and reshape it until it's a proper joke. But it never goes on the paper as as a joke when i'm writing it out. What i used to do was, once i'd got the sort of vague structure that i'd done on stage, i'd then take it back to my house,. Late at night, i'd smoke a joint, put ear phones on with like, fun music, and i'd let yo dance around my move around my front room in circles, while talking to myself.
