The thought is that memories are not stored in a place. They're stored in some kind of holographic way in the brain. If you were looking at a physical hologram, the stuff you would see would be the interference of the lasers. But if we're only seeing the intersection, like the two lasers that are crossing, we're not seeing either laser. Do you get that?
