Algerian Coffee in London's Soho
Marisa Cricheta and her family have been running the Algerian coffee stores based in London's Soho for three generations. The store first opened its stores in 1887 and got its name from its founder, an Algerian gentleman who immigrated to the UK. Its global network of coffee tea and confectionery suppliers have kept the business flourishing for more than a century. According to figures released by the OEC, $346 million worth of coffee was exported from the UK in 2020.
