The Nation of Islam

Malcolm Little was one of eight children to a Baptist lay preacher and his father was a committed member of Marcus Garvey's universal Negro Improvement Association. Malcolm would change the whole trajectory of the nation of Islam. Today the most prominent nation of Islam leader is probably Louis X, now known as Louis Farrakhan. Back during the 2008 US presidential election several major news organizations had a photo of a friendly Barack Obama and Louisfarrakhan posing together but they worried that it would do damage to his election chances.
