Wendy brown, one of the leading thinkers on neo liberalism says equality has become a dirty word in America. She argues that we accept unequal access to the basic sharing of power that is at the heart of democracy. Brown: Traditional morality, religion, patriotism, family and its traditional structures, including patriarchy are now seen as more important than individual liberty.
