i was also inspired by my great uncle, my grandmother's brother, karl vincent, who served in the house of representatives in washington for 50 years. So all those things entered into it. But i was interested in government. I was interested foreign policy. One of my first experiences out of a law scool was working for the house om services committee. And that experience had a rather profound effect on me in terms of his vision and determination to get into politics.
