The alien was created by production designer patrick titopolis. He'd worked on a bunch of stuff, including seven bramstorkers and dracula. And yes, he really killed het with that. I shall love the reveal. As a kid, i'm terrified of this thing,. The whole thing where it communicates with the scientist, that it's like choking with the tentacles, such a cold moment.
