Home Blood Pressure Monitoring

I think we're starting to appreciate the role of home blood pressure monitoring or out of office blood pressure monitoring. I will tell patients first thing in the morning before they eat, after they've emptied their bladder before the cigarette. And if you can do that a couple of times a week, that's great. But more often than not, if I get just a few sort of sporadic home readings, I'm still happy. Dr. Cohen said she likes to get six readings, over the course of a week, at least six readings. The low dose combination pills are recommended by the International Society for hypertension guidelines from 2020.
