The Immune System Is the First Line of Defence
The immune system has lots of parts working to keep us safe. Skin and cloths and mucus and stomach acid all help to heap germs out. We have innate immune cells as the first line of defence, with t cells and tea cells ready to come into fight in a more specialized way. Vaccines train our immune systems, making them stronger, smarter and ready to fight germs from the moment they enter our bodies.
