How to Express a Feeling That's Been Shut Down for So Long
When we have that kind of shame around certain feelings, or deep seated fears around it, a lot of people don't know then how to express them. So the way that i like to support people through that is going through process where i demo grief, m anger, ecstasy, joy and a disgust. And i'll give these really embodied, intense demos of those. And oftentimes that is all that people need. Because once you see somebody that you connect with on some level expressing something that's felt so like, shut down, um to you for so long, you kind of recognize, like, this is ok for me to do.
