A Woman, Great Is Your Faith

The Jews saw the Canaanites as very sexually promiscuous. So they compared them to dogs. She accepts that Jesus is called just to the children of Israel, that she's not an Israelite. But then notice what she does. She says, yet, Lord, even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master's table. And here we have, I think, a great model of persistence and prayer.
