The Drefus Affair

Bert moriso was one of France's first impressionist painters. Morisdeau married her brother-in-law, edward maney in 1874. She had recurring illnesses and became disordered with eating. Her studio was destroyed during the uprising known as the paris commune. In 18 74 she took a trip to spain where she started painting again.
