I'm teaching at a quite a prestigious university in Paris. All the students there are studying law, you know, French law and all that stuff. And they have to also take some classes in English. This is actually the first year that first year students have had to take Classes in English. I don't really speak French so I just speak English - but it's not very good because people need to be forced to talk about their own language. It was probably quite boring, a bit of a pain in the neck for them all. Instead now they start using English, speaking English in class,. Having proper English classes from year one at university.
Last night I couldn't sleep, and so today my mind has turned into jelly. Let me tell you all about how it feels.
