Is There a Star Near the Top of the Sky?

All constellations are made up of stars that are very far away from each other. The higher a star is, the further away from it is for the most part. There's no star at the top of the sky because the sky is a dome and changes all night long. Aht orion has three stars that look like they're in a complete like line, and they're very bright in the indiana sky. They are literally hundreds of light years apart from each other,. It's so mind blowing to think that they look inches apart, and they are so, so, so far apart.
