The people who can manage that in the remote context are usually the super seniors, the people who are well embedded inside the company or just very senior themselves. I've seen people try to do that with an office in San Francisco and an office in North Carolina and then randomly hire an intern in Austin like, of course that person is going to have a really hard time being successful they don't even know how to work. Yeah, so in some sense I think these general they live the company is probably not something most engineering leaders can control you kind of got to play the hands your dealt with.
