The anterior cruciate ligament or ACL is probably the most talked about three centimeters in the body. It's really important because it stabilizes and one of the primary stabilizers of the knee. Without an ACL, patients will say, oh, my knee gives way. That's a primary symptom of having an ACL that's not intact.
