The Argument for the Existence of God
I don't think self-causation makes sense. I'm very suspicious of the notion that that actually makes sense. If it did make sense, then you just be going around and around with nothing. The other point, you mean, what if everybody's lying? And nobody has the $500? Well, that's definitely possible, right? But to take the analogy then and move it back to the arguments of the existence of God, that would be like saying there is no world. There is nothing that exists.
