Civic Square and the Explosion of Social Enterprise
In the early 2010s, mid 2015 there was an explosion of social enterprise and this explosion of that space. And I think what it was driving is a single point solution focus, right? So this app for mental health, this thing for this. But if this was true in social business and something's gone wrong, right? The early work that has been built on incredibly by people like Centric Lab was seeing the obesity systems map done by the cabinet office back in theEarly 2010s,. Which showed that there are many, many elements from the home you live in to your medical history, to your family history - all these things create systemic challenges which we need to tackle.
