Two men midwives examined her and 12 matrons determined she was not quick with child. Quick with child is a 1700 phrase, which means that the fetus could be felt moving inside the womb. So they said, if she is pregnant, we can't tell and the child is not viable. In essence now, she is no longer considered pregnant and eligible for execution.
