The Dialectic of the Third Meditation

In the fourth meditation, the meditator discovers her freedom. And in discovering her freedom, she discovers a divine-like attribute in her. Descartes said that there is something that I have as perfectly as God would have it. That is my free will. Of course, he then qualifies as a scope of my will is not the scope of God's will because God has an omniscient understanding. He offers no account of causation other than this one.
