The Importance of Gracefulness in Animation
Jodie was one of the only black girls in her school and she was a straight A student. I remember that phase of my life so intimately again, wouldn't go back if you paid me but I get to go back through Jodie. The idea of playing with a young black woman who's in that phase of her life where like everything smells like freshly cut grass is such an interesting one. One of the most fun parts of this entire thing as we're watching it as it's coming together, Jodie's wardrobe is so banging.
