The story quickly gained national attention at this point and even more witnesses came forward as we've seen with many stories once it goes public. No concrete evidence was ever provided and no explanation for these sightings was ever found. If there are aliens that wanted to wipe the human race, I genuinely believe there's nothing we could do about it. We wouldn't see it coming. They would. A year after the event, the director of the National Weather Service in Muskegon stated he does not believe it was any sort of UFO whatsoever.
