Software teams should make sure they define explicitly from the beginning what will be in scope and what will be out of scope. This is practice number three. It's helpful to also know what might be coming in the future. So maybe some proposed feature is going to be out ofscope for now, but we see that as a growth direction. And by being aware of that, you can at least build in hooks and the interfaces so that it would be easy to plug in something later on - not today.
