The Engator's Disadvantage to Perceive

The creature has to disadvantage to, to perceive any creatures other than you into the spell ends. It's a Christmas based ability so all of them are, so it's DC 10. So, if any of you are trying to get around self-layered, it's gonna have a hard time noticing you. To throw a thing? Can I use my bonus to move a little bit further onto the top of the street?
