A Life That Trusts in the One True God

David: I bless the Lord who gives me counsel in the night. Also my heart instructs me because he is at my right hand. David's showing us that a life that trusts finds unwavering devotion to the one whose words are more precious than gold and whose love is better than life. Sir, idols can't do that. There may be some fulfillment that we find, but man, when we fail them, not if and when they fail us, they can't offer the redemption that Christ can.
