Wasp 131b: A Planet Outside the Limits of the Ecliptic

The planet is called Wasp 131b and astronomers have known about it since about 2018. It's orbiting essentially backwards, but at an extreme eccentric angle of about 20 degrees. Astronomers think that whatever is causing these hot Jupiter planets to get close into the star also has something to do with them being kicked off of their standard orbitsinto these really highly extreme orbits.
