The Importance of Ethnic Composition in the United States

First settler effects collapse in places where the first effective settlement took place not that long ago. The further you get from the Eastern and Southern rims of the US, settlement was taking place later and later in history when technology and transportation infrastructure allowed people to move greater and greater distances. In this part of the United States, culture has evolved so much that perhaps looking back at what the founding nation was is somewhat helpful, but it tells you a lot less than it does in Boston,. Right? I think that that's an area where the first settler effects may have been disrupted. I don't know what it is, but I'm not sure it's deep south.Southern Florida absolutely is
