The Ancient Greek Pythagorean School of Thoughts
The greek pythagorean school of thought proposed a really interesting view of the world in which the earth is not at the centre, and neither is the sun. According to this theory, everything actually orbits an unseen body referred to as the central fire. Another cool feature of this system is the pythagoreans believed that there was another hidden planet, which they called anticthon. The word anticthon means counter earth in greek. And they apparently thought that the counter earth orbited opposite our planet, on the far side of the central fire so we never got to see it.
