Michael Mathison Miller: My guest today is Dr. Patrick Lee, a professor of philosophy and the director of the Center for Bioethics at Franciscan University. We're going to discuss his book, Body Self-Dulism and Contemporary Ethics and Politics which he co-authored with Princeton Professor Robert P. George. He says it's important because we're dealing with the really foundational questions of what it means to be a human being. And so again, when we look at the moral and political debates, a lot of it comes down to the core of how we understand human being.
