The Struggle to Ship Test Code
I remember having the trouble also when I wanted to write testing code that tested like not quite public to the API, but public methods. And then they would have to be in the same package because otherwise they weren't visible. Because I didn't want to ship my test code. So it's just a whole trying to design around that, well, it took like days to figure out the people.
