In the 19 eighties, when i was at a one of the big four, or what became the big four a, i was the only woman in the room. There were no female partners in new york in consulting. So i had to learn how to survive in that world. It did not work for a small woman to be walking into the c e o's office and saying, this is what we're going to do. This is whato do. That didn't work.
