The Night Watch Program at the Greenham Women's Camp
Local women, who didn't live at the camp, but supported it, would bring food. They'd also come and do something called night watch, which was where they would take a turn to sit up all night around the tents. And then youwould basely bring friends and you'd sit around the women's tents who lived there,. To be like, awake all night, chat to each other, let the women sleep, and basily be there to kind of handle, or try and talk down, anything that happened - just show that people were awake and there was people at the camp.
