The Importance of Sacred Values

Within communities, you sometimes get this value that says you should not question the fundamental values of this community. And those are often sacred values. So like if you look at cancel culture today, that's what it's all about. It's all about canceling people because they have violated what other people consider the community sacred values. I don't think prohibitions against thought that come from the community apply only to sacred values. They also apply to causal theories such as evolution and intelligent design.
